Online Access to Account Information: Benefit Administrators

Benefit administrators can view employer-owned accounts including deferred compensation plan, FAS-106 trust and corporate accounts online. Having online access to these accounts can help you get fast answers to plan participant and manager questions.

Vision®

Online access to employer-owned accounts is provided by Vision®, a secure Web product offered by a Homestead Funds technology partner. Vision® is not a Homestead Funds or National Rural Electric Cooperative Association site.

Request a Vision® ID

Step One: Register online. Follow the Vision® Registration Instructions (pdf). Or call 1-800-258-3030 and a representative will walk you through.

Step Two: Send us your employer’s authorization. Download this Vision ® Access Authorization Letter (Microsoft® Office Word Format), provide the requested information, print it on your employer's letterhead and mail or fax it to Homestead Funds (contact information is provided in the sample letter).

A single letter can be sent to authorize access for multiple employees. However, each of these individuals must register online and each will receive a separate User ID and Password.

Step Three: Log in to Vision. Your Vision ® ID and a link to establish your password will arrive, usually within two business days of your completing the steps above.

Keep Your Vision® ID and Password Confidential

Anyone who knows your Vision® log-in information will be able to use Vision® to view all accounts owned by the cooperative. For deferred compensation plan accounts, that includes every participant’s fund/account position and balance.

If You Forget Your Vision® ID or password

You will need to be able to answer the security question you provided at registration in order for this information to be e-mailed to you directly from Vision®. Homestead Funds’ representatives are not able to look-up your password.

If an Employee with Vision® Access Rights Leaves

Your employer will need to contact Homestead Funds so we can block access. Often, employers modify the Vision ® Access Authorization Letter (Microsoft® Office Word Format) to cancel access for a previous employee at the same time they permit access for a new employee. As long as each Vision® user has registered separately, cancelling a single user’s access can be done without disrupting access for any of the other authorized users.
