Due to the relatively high cost of maintaining small accounts, Homestead Funds reserves the right to close your account if the value of the account falls below $500 ($200 for IRA and ESAs) as the result of redemptions or if you elect to participate in the automatic investment plan and stop making investments before the account reaches this minimum amount. Before closing your account, we will notify you in writing and give you 60 days to bring your account balance to at least the minimum.
